What we need...

Due to a period of sustained growth, we are looking to recruit a Land Referencing Consultant to join our Business Development / Land & Solutions team. Reporting directly to the Head of Land, this is a commercially focused role centred on generating, managing and converting client opportunities for TerraQuest’s Land Referencing department, while advising local authorities and developers on land referencing strategy across major regeneration, energy, transport and utility projects.

What you will be doing…

  • Advising local authorities and developers on land referencing strategy
  • Generating, managing and converting client opportunities for our Land Referencing services
  • Sourcing opportunities through tender sites and frameworks
  • Managing inbound and outbound leads, and promoting our Land Referencing and wider land services
  • Building strong client relationships, including account management on existing and new contracts
  • Attending industry events and networking sessions
  • Maintaining accurate CRM records and pipeline reporting
  • Working closely with internal land, planning and project teams to ensure contracts are delivered

What we are looking for…

  • Significant experience in land referencing, ideally on major infrastructure or regeneration schemes
  • Proven experience generating, managing and converting client opportunities
  • Confident, credible communicator, comfortable advising senior client and stakeholder audiences
  • Commercial awareness and confidence discussing fees and contracts
  • Proactive, driven and target-focused mindset
  • Willingness to travel to various sites and locations as required
