About the Role
Join a growing geotechnical and environmental engineering consultancy specialising in ground investigations. You’ll deliver high-quality, data-driven solutions across renewables, infrastructure, utilities, and environmental sectors.
Responsibilities
- Conduct site works: rig supervision, window sampling, trial pitting, groundwater/soil sampling, environmental investigations
- Capture and manage field data, ensuring accuracy and quality control
- Enforce compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards
- Collaborate with senior engineers, drill crews, and clients to ensure smooth integration between site and office
- Adapt to a varied project portfolio across Residential, Infrastructure, pipelines, cable routes, wind/solar farms, substations and nearshore work
Requirements
- Minimum 12 months’ hands-on site experience in ground investigation
- Qualified to BSc Geology, or related field
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel/stay away when required
- Technical skills: Logging, sample handling, factual reporting
- Excellent communication, organisational skills, and a collaborative mindset
- Familiarity with UK industry standards
