About the Role

Join a growing geotechnical and environmental engineering consultancy specialising in ground investigations. You’ll deliver high-quality, data-driven solutions across renewables, infrastructure, utilities, and environmental sectors.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct site works: rig supervision, window sampling, trial pitting, groundwater/soil sampling, environmental investigations
  • Capture and manage field data, ensuring accuracy and quality control
  • Enforce compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards
  • Collaborate with senior engineers, drill crews, and clients to ensure smooth integration between site and office
  • Adapt to a varied project portfolio across Residential, Infrastructure, pipelines, cable routes, wind/solar farms, substations and nearshore work

Requirements

  • Minimum 12 months’ hands-on site experience in ground investigation
  • Qualified to BSc Geology, or related field
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel/stay away when required
  • Technical skills: Logging, sample handling, factual reporting
  • Excellent communication, organisational skills, and a collaborative mindset
  • Familiarity with UK industry standards
