About the Role

With steady growth in their Exeter office and a robust pipeline of projects, they are now seeking a Principal Wastewater Modeller who can bring technical excellence, leadership and mentorship to the team.
Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver wastewater network modelling projects, from model build and verification through to optioneering and detailed design
- Oversee and review technical work, ensuring high-quality deliverables and adherence to best practices
- Scope and manage surveys, data collection and quality assurance processes
- Mentor and develop junior and graduate modellers, fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment
- Contribute to project bids, client meetings and technical presentations
- Play a hands-on role in shaping delivery standards and influencing future team growth
Requirements
- BEng/MEng (or equivalent) in Civil, Environmental or Water Engineering
- Strong technical expertise in InfoWorks ICM (1D/2D), with supporting skills in MapInfo and ArcGIS
- Proven experience leading or overseeing technical delivery on wastewater and drainage projects
- Passion for mentoring and developing junior colleagues
- Confident communicator with a collaborative, solution-focused approach
- Working towards, or already achieved, chartership (ICE, CIWEM, or similar)
