Our client, a well-established home and community care organisation, is seeking new team members to join their local team in the region.

What you will be doing:

  • Visit clients living in the community in their homes and support them with services, which may include: Domestic Assistance, Shopping trips, Personal Care (dressing, showering, grooming, etc), Meal Preparation, Transportation to and from Medical Appointments, Social Activities, and Respite.
  • Provide on-the-job training and support as you begin your career, with opportunities to progress to additional services (personal care, respite, catheter care, and more).
  • Work with regular clients and hours in a permanent part-time capacity, with flexible days/hours (availability between 9:00am and 5:00pm, Monday to Friday).
  • Receive on-the-job training and, if needed, assistance to complete an Aged Care qualification while being paid.

Shifts and Scheduling:

  • Shifts are available Monday to Friday, between 8:00 am and 4:00 pm.
  • Minimum 15 hours a week, up to 30+ hours a week.

  • Ability to pass a National Police Check (we will arrange this for you)
  • Ability to pass and receive a Working with Vulnerable Persons Card (WVPC)
  • Have a current NSW driver’s licence
  • Have a reliable, registered vehicle with full comprehensive insurance
  • Have regular availability
  • Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, or a Permanent resident, allowing access to State Funding for the program

Requirements:

  • Must have a reliable vehicle, with a NSW driver’s licence
  • Must have a current NSW driver’s licence
  • Willingness to learn
  • Willingness to participate in training and complete the Certificate III in Individual Support (paid during buddy shifts, regular shifts, and training days)
