Terminal3 is looking for a Sales Executive with Chinese language skills for its global games monetization and distribution platform. Our primary goal is to help game publishers and developers expand globally with a complete suite of monetization and distribution services. We work as an extension of their team to help them launch games, distribute digital content, and accept payments in over 200 countries.
Focused on finding and developing new accounts, the Account Executive will play a key role in identifying potential partners for Terminal3, discovering new opportunities, and ensuring Terminal3 becomes the top choice for game developers and publishers when selecting a payment partner.
Tasks:
- Proactively identify and cultivate strategic partnerships within the gaming industry — this is a 360 Sales Cycle role.
- Collaborate closely with Integration, Product Development, Operations, Legal, and Sales teams to integrate new solutions, enhance existing products, and deliver seamless experiences to our customers.
- Partner with Business Development teams to drive merchant enablement initiatives, upsell opportunities, and innovative revenue streams through effective partnership strategies.
- Conduct thorough market research and analysis to inform strategic decision-making, identify market trends, and capitalize on competitive opportunities.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to partnership activities and revenue generation.
Requirements:
- 2+ years in Business Development for Tech or SaaS companies.
- You should be prepared to travel around 30% of the time to attend conferences worldwide.
- You must have a history of travel — catching planes and trains, staying in airport lounges, and waking up in different cities.
- You should be a light traveler or a versatile packer who can seamlessly switch from a bathing suit and flip-flops on the sand to a suit and tie in the evening.
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in International Affairs, Political Science, Finance, Marketing, or Business, or extensive experience in a business-related field within the digital space.
- English and Chinese fluency at a native or near-native level is required.
- Technical Savvy: You need to understand technology beyond a rudimentary level.
- You should have high energy but also be able to remain serious, intellectual, and calm when needed.
- A self-starter: capable of crafting a pitch document independently within a couple of hours without external help.
- Quick thinker, with a deep interest in the gaming and payments space, able to understand opportunities quickly when hearing a company's name.
