We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Year 3 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Tonbridge on a full-time basis. This role is available immediately and will run until July 2026, offering valuable continuity for the class and school.
The Role
You will take responsibility for a Year 3 class of 29 pupils with a wide range of abilities. The children are friendly, enthusiastic and keen to learn, responding well to praise and positive relationships. They benefit from clear expectations and consistent behaviour management, particularly around maintaining focus in lessons. This presents an excellent opportunity for a teacher who enjoys seeing rapid progress, embedding core skills and celebrating "quick wins" as pupils rebuild strong learning habits.
Additional Support
- Highly experienced and capable Teaching Assistant is currently supporting the class and will remain in post
- Strong leadership and a collaborative staff team, including another Year 3 teacher based next door for guidance and support
