Teaching Assistant – Tonbridge and Malling, Kent Full Time position £80 – £90 / day. Tonbridge, Kent area. Post-16 (College)This well organised college in the Tonbridge, Kent area is seeking several learning support assistants / teaching assistants to start working in between October 2025 and December 2025. The college offers a supportive department and a role that will involve a variety of tasks, previously teaching assistants have been given the opportunity to work as a cover supervisor and potentially enrol on teacher training programmes. The college are looking for motivated and proactive LSAs/TAs to work alongside students that have ASD (autism spectrum disorder) and SEMH as well as those that require assistance with reading and writing. You will be working either 1:1 with pupils or in small groups, alongside other TAs/LSAs. As a Teaching Assistant, you will have experience; Supporting pupils one-to-one or in small groups, fostering learning and independence. Assisting with classroom management and create a calm, supportive environment. Preparing tailored resources and support communication and social skills development.
