An exceptional Special Needs school based in Crowborough are currently looking for an experienced Special Needs Teacher in need of a full/part time role. The school itself encourages independence and strives to inspire students to reach their full potential. As a Special Needs Teacher, you will have the opportunity to deliver tailored lessons for students with a range of special educational needs. You will work closely with other teaching staff to create an inclusive and stimulating learning environment. Your key responsibilities as a Special Needs Teacher: Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons tailored to the needs of students with special educational needs. Monitor students' progress, providing feedback and adjustments to teaching methods as necessary. Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment where students feel valued and motivated to learn. Be able to remain calm and composed if presented with challenging behaviour. Safeguard and promote the welfare of pupils.Requirements: Hold QTS Knowledge and understanding of a range of special educational needs, including autism, learning disabilities, and behavioural difficulties. Hold the Right to Work in the UK. Have an enhanced DBS certificate on the update service or be happy to apply.
