Job Title: SEN teaching assistant
Location: Westerham
Start date: Flexible
Pay: £90 – £100 per day dependant on qualifications and experience
Job Summary:Do you have PROACT-SCIPr-UK training? At term time teachers, we are looking for a knowledgeable SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with additional needs within one our schools in Westerham. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers and support staff to provide tailored support, enabling SEN students to access the curriculum and develop their skills in a nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the teacher in delivering tailored learning activities to SEN students.
- Provide one to one or small group support to pupils with a range of special educational needs, including learning difficulties, physical disabilities, and emotional or behavioural challenges.
- Adapt resources and activities to meet the needs of individual students.
- Encourage positive behaviour and support social integration within the school community.
- Assist with the use of specialist equipment or technology.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Previous experience working with children with special educational needs.
- Hold PROACT-SCIPr-UK training.
- You must hold a DBS (or be willing to apply for one)
- You must have the right to work in the UK.
