This is a Special School for children and young people from 3 to 19 years with a wide range of special educational needs. All of the pupils have profound, severe and/or complex needs, have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) and attend one of their three sites.
This school is ambitious for their pupils and offer a rich Creative Curriculum that is personalised and offers real life learning in school and in the community. Their skilled and dedicated staff team work very hard to make learning motivating, interactive, challenging and fun, whilst ensuring that all children and young people feel safe, valued and self-confident. They promote \”Skills for Life and Independence\” so that when they leave school they are prepared for the next phase in their lives and have the best opportunities to be happy, fulfilled and contributing citizens.
The school offer extensive enrichment activities including clubs, trips and residential experiences in the United Kingdom and abroad. These opportunities provide pupils time and experiences to find out more about themselves and prepare for the world around them.
They work effectively across school community with Parents and Carers, Therapists, NHS Colleagues and other professionals and external organisations to best support and meet the needs of pupils.
