We are currently recruiting a Supply SEN Teacher to work within a well-regarded special school in Brighton that supports children and young people aged 4-16 years with autism spectrum conditions, moderate to severe learning difficulties, and associated communication, sensory and behavioural needs. As a Supply SEN Teacher, you will have the chance to make a real impact each day, while enjoying the flexibility to choose when and where you work.
Your Role - Supply SEN Teacher
- Deliver creative and differentiated lessons tailored to learners with complex needs
- Support EHCP outcomes with adaptive teaching and multi-sensory approaches
- Use visual aids, PECS, Makaton, and communication systems where needed
- Work closely with experienced TAs and support staff
- Maintain a calm, structured classroom environment that promotes progress and wellbeing
Requirements - Supply SEN Teacher
- QTS or equivalent UK teaching qualification
- Experience working as an SEN Teacher or in SEN settings preferred
- Knowledge of autism-friendly teaching approaches and behaviour support
- A calm, proactive and resilient mindset
- Willingness to adapt quickly and work collaboratively
