SEMH Learning Support Assistant - East Sussex Are you experienced in supporting children or young people with SEMH, trauma, anxiety or challenging behaviour? We are currently recruiting for a Learning Support Assistant to join an SEN setting in East Sussex, supporting pupils who may have experienced significant barriers to education. You will be working closely with teaching staff to provide consistent, calm and positive support, helping pupils to manage their emotions, build confidence and engage with learning. The role: Supporting pupils with SEMH and behavioural needs Providing 1:1 and small-group support Helping pupils regulate and engage in lessons Building positive, trusting relationships Supporting learning and wider personal developmentWe'd love to hear from you if you have experience in: SEMH, trauma, behaviour support, youth work, care, mentoring or SEN - although relevant transferable experience will also be considered.
