School Crossing Patrol - Tunbridge Wells Academics are currently supporting a school in Tunbridge Wells with the recruitment of a School Crossing Patrol, offering an immediate start. Hours: 7:45am - 8:45am, Monday to Friday, term time only. The successful candidate will play an important role in ensuring the safety of children, families and pedestrians using the designated school crossing point, while helping traffic move safely and efficiently. Key responsibilities include: Safely managing pedestrians waiting to cross and ensuring they only enter the road when traffic has stopped. Using the provided uniform and safety equipment correctly at all times. Ensuring pedestrians have safely reached the footway before allowing traffic to proceed. Monitoring and reporting hazards such as potholes, obstructions, vegetation or roadworks. Reporting incidents, inappropriate behaviour or safeguarding concerns in line with school procedures. Completing required training and following health and safety guidance.The ideal candidate will be reliable, responsible and safety-conscious, with a friendly and professional approach. You should be confident communicating with children, families and members of the public. Immediate start available. Salary will be determined by the successful candidate's qualifications and relevant experience, and will be in accordance with the client's pay policy
