Experienced Year 6 Teacher – Rochester

Part-time (Every Monday) Paid to Scale Starting After October Half Term (Term 2)

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Year 6 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Rochester. This is a part-time role, teaching every Monday, starting after the October half term for Term 2, with pay in line with your current MPS/UPS rate.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and high-quality lessons to a Year 6 class. Plan as part of this role and work collaboratively with the wider teaching team to ensure continuity and progress across the curriculum.
  • Support pupils as they prepare for the transition to secondary school, employing strong classroom management and a commitment to helping pupils achieve their full potential.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Proven experience teaching in Upper Key Stage 2, ideally Year 6
  • Strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum and SATs preparation
