Are you a passionate and inspiring Music Teacher looking for your next opportunity? We are working with a welcoming and well-regarded secondary school in the Tandridge area seeking an enthusiastic Teacher of Music to join their Creative Arts department on a full-time maternity cover basis from September.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious teacher to inspire students through engaging and creative lessons while becoming part of a supportive and collaborative school community.

The Role
  • Teaching Music across Key Stages 3 and 4 (Key Stage 5 experience is advantageous but not essential).
  • Planning and delivering engaging lessons that inspire a love of music.
  • Assessing, monitoring and supporting student progress.
  • Contributing to the wider life of the department, including concerts, performances and extracurricular activities where possible.
  • Full-time maternity cover commencing in September.
The Ideal Candidate
  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • Has experience teaching Music within a UK secondary school.
  • Is an enthusiastic classroom practitioner with excellent subject knowledge.
  • Can build positive relationships with students, colleagues and parents.
  • Has high expectations for achievement, behaviour and student engagement.
  • ECTs and experienced teachers are both encouraged to apply.
