We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join a specialist provision in Tonbridge supporting children and young people with profound and complex special educational needs. This role is ideal for someone with a care background who is passionate about providing personalised support to pupils with complex physical disabilities, severe learning difficulties, and associated medical needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality support with personal care, feeding, mobility, and medical routines
- Assist pupils in accessing the curriculum through personalised, therapeutic approaches
- Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and healthcare professionals to deliver integrated care and education
- Support pupils' communication using various methods, including Makaton, PECS, or other augmentative communication systems (training provided)
