About the French teacher role:

At Term Time Teachers we are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic French Teacher to join a variety of excellent modern foreign language departments at a variety of high-achieving schools in the Sevenoaks area. The ideal candidate will inspire students across Key Stages 3 to 5 by delivering effective French lessons that promote a love of French.

Key Responsibilities as a French teacher:

  • Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality French lessons to students across key stages 3 to 5.
  • Assess students' progress in line with the schools policies.
  • Maintain a positive learning environment.
  • Ensure the safeguarding and well-being of all children.

Requirements as a French teacher:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching French in secondary schools
  • An Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or willing to apply for one)
  • Strong knowledge of French and effective classroom management skills
  • Hold the right to work in the UK
