Deputy Room Manager - Early Years Location: Near Edenbridge Contract: Full Time, Permanent Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience Are you an experienced Early Years Practitioner ready to take the next step in your career? Academics is working with a fantastic nursery near Edenbridge to recruit a passionate and dedicated Deputy Room Manager to join their team. This is a wonderful opportunity to support the Room Manager in delivering outstanding care and education while helping children flourish during their early years. The Role As Deputy Room Manager, you will: Support the Room Manager with the day-to-day running of the room. Lead the room in the Room Manager's absence. Deliver engaging activities in line with the EYFS curriculum. Build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues. Support, motivate and mentor Early Years Practitioners. Ensure safeguarding, health & safety and nursery policies are followed at all times. Create a nurturing, stimulating and inclusive environment where every child can thrive. The Ideal Candidate Holds a Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent) - essential. Has previous experience within a nursery or early years setting. Previous Room Leader or senior practitioner experience is desirable. Has a strong understanding of the EYFS framework and safeguarding procedures.
