Are you a CACHE Level 3 Qualified Nursery Practitioner looking for flexible nursery work in Eastbourne? Academics are currently recruiting experienced and enthusiastic Level 3 Nursery Practitioners to work across a range of nurseries in Eastbourne and the surrounding areas. We have both part-time and full-time opportunities available, making this a great option whether you are looking for regular work or greater flexibility around your schedule.
The Role
As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play an important role in providing a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment for children. You will work alongside experienced nursery teams to support children's learning, development and wellbeing.
You may be responsible for:
- Supporting children's learning and development through play and planned activities
- Providing a safe, caring and stimulating environment
- Supporting children's personal care needs
- Building positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues
- Following safeguarding and nursery policies
- Working as part of a supportive nursery team
- Completing observations and contributing to children's development records
Requirements
To be considered for these opportunities, you must have:
- CACHE Level 3 or equivalent Early Years qualification
- Previous experience working in a UK nursery setting
- Paediatric First Aid training
- A strong understanding of the EYFS
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A genuine passion for working with children
- A commitment to safeguarding and child welfare
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service is desirable, although we can support successful applicants through the DBS process where required.
