Academics is working with a fantastic nursery near Edenbridge to recruit a passionate and dedicated Deputy Room Manager to join their team.
This is a wonderful opportunity to support the Room Manager in delivering outstanding care and education while helping children flourish during their early years.
The Role
- Support the Room Manager with the day-to-day running of the room.
- Lead the room in the Room Manager's absence.
- Deliver engaging activities in line with the EYFS curriculum.
- Build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
- Support, motivate and mentor Early Years Practitioners.
- Ensure safeguarding, health & safety and nursery policies are followed at all times.
- Create a nurturing, stimulating and inclusive environment where every child can thrive.
- The Ideal Candidate
- Holds a Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent) – essential.
- Has previous experience within a nursery or early years setting.
- Previous Room Leader or senior practitioner experience is desirable.
- Has a strong understanding of the EYFS framework and safeguarding procedures.
- Is organised, caring and passionate about delivering outstanding childcare.
- Works well as part of a team and leads by example.
