The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 £ per year.
Provide dedicated 1:1 support for a pupil with an EHCP. Support the pupil in accessing the curriculum and engaging in classroom activities. Implement strategies and interventions outlined within the EHCP. Encourage independence, confidence, and positive social interactions. Monitor progress and provide feedback to teaching staff and SEN professionals. Work closely with the SLT, parents, and class teacher to ensure consistent support and positive outcomes. Contribute to creating a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience supporting children with additional needs is desirable.
- Knowledge of EHCPs and SEN support strategies is advantageous.
- Patient, caring, and resilient approach to supporting pupils.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a wider school team.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
