Chemistry teacher Location: Chemistry teacher Contract: Temporary (with potential for long term opportunities) Pay/rate: £130 – £200 per day (dependent on role) Start date: Flexible Location: Tunbridge Wells Your role At term time teachers we are looking for an experienced Chemistry teacher to teach and inspire pupils in an exceptional science department in Tunbridge Wells. This is a great opportunity to inspire children and contribute to their academical progress within chemistry. Your responsibilities Plan and mark work timely, producing relevant feedback to the children to support their academic progress. Teach chemistry through a variety of creative lessons and practical\’s. Create awe and wonder in line with the biology curriculum. Monitor children\’s development and assess their ongoing progress.Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Experience teaching chemistry in UK secondary schools. Excellent subject knowledge and strong classroom control. An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply). Legal right to work in the UK.
