Are you passionate about supporting children with additional needs in a primary school setting? Academics Agency are working with a welcoming primary school in Brighton who are seeking a dedicated SEN Learning Support Assistant to join their team full time from September.

This rewarding role will involve working 1:1 with a Year 3 child with ASD who has an EHCP, ensuring their individual needs are fully supported within the classroom environment. You will work closely with the SENCO and Senior Leadership Team (SLT) to ensure the child receives consistent, tailored support to help them thrive both academically and socially.

  • Have a minimum of 6 months' experience working with children with SEN (essential)
  • Have UK-based primary school experience (essential)
  • Be confident working 1:1 with children with additional needs, particularly ASD
  • Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one

Providing dedicated 1:1 support for a Year 3 pupil with ASD and an EHCP, supporting the child's learning, emotional regulation, and social development.
