We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Learning Support Assistant to provide 1:1 support within KS2, working closely alongside the SENCO and Senior Leadership Team (SLT). This is a rewarding opportunity for someone passionate about supporting children with additional needs and helping them thrive in a school environment.

Requirements:

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one
  • Ability to provide 2 years of references
  • Experience working with children in the UK
  • SEN support experience desirable
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Patient, nurturing, and proactive approach

Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored 1:1 support for a KS2 pupil with SEN needs
  • Work collaboratively with the SENCO, teachers, and SLT
  • Support learning, emotional wellbeing, and classroom engagement
  • Help implement individual support strategies and interventions
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
