At academics, we are looking for a waking night support worker to join a small, supportive team within a residential setting for children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities. The role involves providing overnight care, support and supervision to pupils and students aged 5-19 with speech, language and communication needs, learning difficulties, and associated SEND.
About You

- Qualified to Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or an equivalent relevant qualification)
Working Hours
The successful candidate will work up to 44 hours per week across four waking night shifts, operating on a rota basis between 10:00pm and 9:00am, Sunday to Thursday, during term time only.
Start date ASAP. Excellent on-site training, support and CPD is provided to ensure safeguarding of all students.
PAYE, term time only.
If you have a Psychology / Criminology / Health & Social Care degree, it's an excellent use of your degree.
