School Caretake / Site Assistant - Independent Prep School
Location: Tunbridge Wells
Hours: 35 hours per week
Contract: Full-time
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced School Site Assistant to join a well-regarded independent prep school in Tunbridge Wells.
The successful candidate will play an important role in ensuring the school site, buildings and grounds are maintained to a high standard, providing a safe, welcoming and well-presented environment for pupils, staff and visitors.
The ideal candidate will:
- Have previous experience working as a Site Assistant, Site Manager, Premises Assistant or similar role.
- Have practical experience of general maintenance, repairs and upkeep of school or commercial premises.
- Be confident carrying out routine checks and identifying maintenance or health and safety issues.
- Be organised, reliable and able to work independently.
- Have a proactive, hands-on approach and take pride in maintaining a high-quality environment.
- Be comfortable working around children and within a busy school setting.
