Math\’s teacher

Location: Tonbridge and Malling

Contract: Temporary (with potential for long term opportunities)

Pay/rate: 130 – 200 per day (dependent on role)

About The Role

At term time teachers are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Mathematics Teacher as part of our growing agency team to teach within high-performing Mathematics Departments at a variety of schools in Tonbridge and Malling. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to children\’s success within their mathematical development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and assess work efficiently, providing children feedback to support their academic progress.
  • Deliver mathematics curriculum to secondary school pupils
  • Encourage curiosity, critical thinking and problem solving in mathematical activities.
  • Monitor children\’s development and assess their progress

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching English in UK secondary schools
  • Excellent subject knowledge and strong classroom control
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
  • Legal right to work in the UK
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting children\’s well-being
