Nursery Assistant
Kingshill Area
We are looking for a reliable and caring Nursery Assistant to join our friendly early years team based in the Kingshill area.
This is a full-time position, ideal for someone who enjoys working with young children and is committed to supporting their learning, development and wellbeing.
Key responsibilities:
- Supporting children with their daily routines, activities and learning.
- Creating a safe, positive and welcoming environment.
- Assisting with indoor and outdoor activities.
- Supporting the wider nursery team with day-to-day duties.
- Building positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
- Following nursery policies and safeguarding procedures.
The ideal candidate will:
- Have a genuine interest in working with young children.
- Be reliable, patient and approachable.
- Have good communication and teamwork skills.
- Be willing to learn and develop within the role.
- Be available to work full time.
- Previous nursery or childcare experience is desirable, although applicants with the right attitude and willingness to learn will also be considered.
