ASD Specialist - Small Group SEN Setting - East Sussex
If you are experienced in supporting children and young people with Autism and complex communication needs, this could be a great opportunity to work in a genuinely specialist environment.
We are recruiting for an ASD-focused role within a small-group setting, where pupils benefit from a more individualised approach to learning and support.
You will be working closely with pupils on a small-group basis, helping them to develop academically, socially and emotionally.
The role:
- Supporting pupils with ASD and associated needs
- Working within a small-group environment
- Providing consistent, individualised support
- Supporting communication, regulation and engagement
- Working alongside teaching and specialist staffExperience with ASD, sensory needs, communication difficulties, Makaton/PECS or other communication approaches would be beneficial.
Location: East Sussex
Hours: Full-time / Part-time opportunities
This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced SEN professional who prefers a smaller, more specialist setting and enjoys building strong relationships with pupils.
Salary will be determined by the successful candidate's qualifications and relevant experience, and will be in accordance with the client's pay policy
