Join our team at Terex and embark on an exciting opportunity as we seek a skilled and dedicated Health, Safety and Environmental Advisor to contribute to the Terex Dungannon Health, Safety and Environmental team. Position: Health, Safety and Environmental Advisor
Location: Dungannon
Reporting to: Health, Safety and Environmental Manager
Hours of Work: 39hrs 45 mins per week
What you will do:
- Support all the business on assigned HSE tasks with the delivery of HSE Plans which ensures the site is fully compliant, proactive and creates a culture conducive to the achievement of Company’s aims.
- Ensure compliance to local Health, Safety and Environmental legislation as well as company policies and requirements.
- Environmental monitoring and measurement.
- Contributing to HSE Steering meetings and Safety Committees.
- Assistance in the Claims management process.
- Review of HSE Risk Assessment, Policies and Procedures regularly.
- Support the integration of HSE principles into daily operations and project planning.
- Lead investigations into accidents, near misses, and environmental incidents.
- Analyse HSE performance data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Working with regulatory enforcement agencies, insurance agencies, and occupational health providers.
- Identify requirements and deliver for HSE Training.
- Deliver HSE training as necessary.
- Collaborate with site teams; leadership, production, engineering, logistics, purchasing to ensure completion of HSE improvement plans and SIF roadmaps.
- Collaborate within the site and externally to ensure the safety of contractors and visitors.
- Support HSE budget as necessary; to process purchase orders and resolving invoice purchase order queries.
- Coordinating and consulting with leadership teams.
What you will bring:
- NEBOSH General Certificate in Health & Safety or similar.
- Experience gained in a similar role.
- Knowledge of current Health, Safety and Environmental Legislation.
- A good working knowledge of Risk assessments, COSHH, RIDDOR and DSE regulations.
- Experience of working within manufacturing environment.
- NEBOSH Environmental Management Certificate.
- Knowledge of PPC Regulations, UK Packaging regulations.
