Location: Omagh
Hours: 39 Hour Week. Monday Thursday 6:00pm 4:15am. Nightshift premium applicable.
As a HGV driver at Terex based in Omagh, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting the production of equipment that helps improve the lives of people around the world. This role involves safely and efficiently transporting materials, components, and equipment between Terex sites, ensuring timely delivery while maintaining full compliance with road safety regulations, company policies, and operational standards. Please note this is a lone working role.
Tasks & Responsibilities
- Operate Heavy Goods Vehicles (HGV) in a safe, legal, and responsible manner at all times.
- Transport raw materials, finished goods, and equipment between Terex facilities and designated locations.
- Ensure loads are properly secured and comply with health & safety standards.
- Conduct daily vehicle checks and report defects in line with legal and company requirements.
- Operate a Forklift truck to load and unload goods.
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation, including logs, manifests, and inspection reports.
- Adhere to all driving regulations, including tachograph rules, driver hours, and working time directives.
- Liaise with site personnel, stores teams, and logistics coordinators to ensure efficient loading and unloading.
- Keep vehicles clean, roadworthy, and presentable.
- Report any incidents, near misses, or delays promptly to management.
- Support general yard duties when required.

- Strong knowledge of road transport regulations and compliance requirements.

Qualifications & Experience
- Valid HGV Licence (Category CE as required).
- Driver CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence).
- Digital Tachograph Card.
- Previous experience in a similar HGV driving role (preferably within manufacturing or industrial environments for a minimum of 2 years).
- Experience of inter-site or multi-drop deliveries.
