As a Quality Engineer at Terex based in Omagh, you'll play a key role in driving a proactive quality culture across the organization. This role focuses on preventing defects, improving processes, and ensuring that products meet or exceed customer expectations. The Quality Engineer works closely with purchasing, engineering, production, and suppliers to identify risks early, implement robust controls, and continuously improve quality performance. About the Role Promote Terex Omagh quality standards, right first- time approach and zero-defect culture and best practice. Promote a culture of quality across the entire manufacturing process from suppliers to the shop floor to the customer. Analyze quality data to identify trends and improvement opportunities. Work with suppliers to resolve quality issues and improve consistency. Support creation and revision of Quality alerts, control plans, inspection standards and other quality documentation. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications. Support lean manufacturing initiatives such as 5S and process standardization Support qualification of new local suppliers for castings, fabrications, and machined parts.
