Join our team at Terex Omagh and embark on an exciting opportunity as we seek a skilled and dedicated Paint Shop Operative (Blast / Spray) to contribute to our Paint Shop team at night. As a Paint Shop Operative (Blast / Spray) at Terex, based in Omagh, you'll play a pivotal role in producing equipment that helps improve the lives of people around the world.
What you'll do:
- Brushes or sprays paint to cover scratches, chips or repairs in painted parts or finish of machines.
- Cleans and prepares surface for painting using cleaning solution, solvent, sander and scraper.
- Applies thin coat of finish material such as paint or lacquer to sanded area.
- Sprays or touches up finish coats to blend spots or imperfections.
- Ability to prime and apply base coat to a high standard.
- Be confident in checking and polishing components with the minimum of supervision.
What you'll bring:
- Relevant experience as a Blast / Spray Painter including previous bodywork experience.
- Knowledge of paint preparation within an engineering environment.
- Hard working, a good team player with excellent communication skills and good attention to detail.
- Willingness to develop your skills on an ongoing basis in line with the growing business.
- Flexibility to work overtime as and when required.
