Join our team at Terex Omagh and embark on an exciting opportunity as we seek a skilled and dedicated Paint Shop Operative (Blast / Spray) to contribute to our Paint Shop team at night.

As a Paint Shop Operative (Blast / Spray) at Terex, based in Omagh, you'll play a pivotal role in producing equipment that helps improve the lives of people around the world.

What you'll do:

  • Brushes or sprays paint to cover scratches, chips or repairs in painted parts or finish of machines.
  • Cleans and prepares surface for painting using cleaning solution, solvent, sander and scraper.
  • Applies thin coat of finish material such as paint or lacquer to sanded area.
  • Sprays or touches up finish coats to blend spots or imperfections.
  • Ability to prime and apply base coat to a high standard.
  • Be confident in checking and polishing components with the minimum of supervision.

What you'll bring:

  • The successful candidate needs to have relevant experience as a Blast / Spray Painter including previous bodywork experience.
  • They should have knowledge of paint preparation within an engineering environment.
  • They should be hard working, a good team player with excellent communication skills and good attention to detail.
  • You should be willing to develop your skills on an ongoing basis in line with the growing business.
  • We also require the flexibility to work overtime as and when required.
