As a Paint Shop Operative (Spray Painter) at Terex, based in Omagh, you'll play a pivotal role in producing equipment that helps improve the lives of people around the world.

What you'll do:

  • Brushes or sprays paint to cover scratches, chips or repairs in painted parts or finish of machines.
  • Cleans and prepares surface for painting using cleaning solution, solvent, sander and scraper.
  • Applies thin coat of finish material such as paint or lacquer to sanded area.
  • Sprays or touches up finish coats to blend spots or imperfections.
  • Ability to prime and apply base coat to a high standard.
  • Be confident in checking and polishing components with the minimum of supervision.

What you'll bring:

  • Relevant experience as a Spray Painter including previous bodywork experience.
  • Knowledge of paint preparation within an engineering environment.
  • Hard working, a good team player with excellent communication skills and good attention to detail.
  • Willingness to develop your skills on an ongoing basis in line with the growing business.
  • Flexibility to work overtime as and when required.
