As a HR Advisor at Terex based in Omagh, you will play a pivotal role in producing equipment that helps improve the lives of people around the world.

What you'll do:

  • Advise and support managers in your client groups in all day-to-day operational HR matters, acting as a true business partner.
  • Build strong relationships with line managers and supervisors to provide business partnering support to ensure the effective and seamless delivery of end-to-end HR processes.
  • Provide guidance and coaching to managers, supervisors, and team members.
  • Support line managers and supervisors to set goals for Team Members, assess capability, and drive calibration across the performance management cycle.
  • Manage the recruitment life cycle from inception to completion, partnering with hiring managers to ensure quality of talent.
  • Support Team Member engagement, retention, and culture enhancement initiatives and promotion of health and wellbeing.
  • Manage the onboarding, HR orientation & probation review processes for all new Team Members in allocated client groups.
  • Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures and ensure they are applied consistently and updated where necessary.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives and instil HR practices/processes which add value.
  • Proactively manage absence (short term and long term) and refer team members to occupational health as and when required.
  • Professional handling of disciplinary & grievance issues.
  • Support payroll administration for weekly paid team members.
  • Plan, organise, and deliver training & development for team members at all levels.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • HR related Degree advantageous.
  • CIPD qualified or working towards CIPD qualification or relevant professional qualification.
  • Track record of acting as a true HR Business Partner where you have provided operational HR support.
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced, complex environment and able to balance the operational demands of the business along with other projects and initiatives.
  • Good working knowledge of UK employment legislation and best practice and the ability and experience of applying it in a practical manner.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR systems.
  • Confident working independently.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills.
  • Ability to produce accurate work.
  • Ability to identify and support improvements to HR processes to enhance efficiency and employee experience.
  • An understanding and experience in applying AI tools to support HR practices would be advantageous.
