About the Role: Reporting directly to the Production Manager, the supervisor is responsible for ensuring a smooth flow of production through the manufacturing line to meet the weekly production targets in the most effective manner.
- Lead and manage the day to day production to ensure that targets & KPIs are met and within the required timeframe.
- Ensure product is built to quality standard promoting our Zero Defects culture.
- Lead and attend the daily and weekly production meetings.
- Manage the manufacturing team on a daily basis in terms of labour, work instruction, attendance management and any disciplinary and grievance issues that may arise.
- Lead and drive health & safety within the workplace at all times promoting our Zero Harm culture.
- Promote and maintain compliance to all Health and Safety Regulations.
- Ensure compliance to all general site Rules, Regulations and Policies.
- Ensure flow within work area in accordance with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement.
- Lead and sustain 5s practices within work area.
- Carry out any other reasonable duties that may be required from time to time.

About you: Candidates should be qualified to minimum of GCSE level or equivalent. Significant production experience gained in a highly pressured manufacturing environment. Experience and proven track record of Supervisory and/or people management is essential. An understanding of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement techniques is an advantage. Computer literate and experience of Oracle/ERP systems. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work well as part of the wider operations and manufacturing team. Ability to work to and meet strict deadlines and able to adapt to changing priorities & goals. Good team player and able to work on own initiative.
