Reporting to: Accounting Manager

Contract: Full-Time (37.75 hours)

Working Hours: Monday-Thursday 8:00am-4:30pm, Friday 8:00am-2:00pm

The Opportunity

As a Financial Accountant, you'll be a key member of the GBS Accounting team, gaining broad exposure across financial reporting, controls, and business partnering. This role is perfect for someone looking to:

What You'll Be Doing

  • Preparing and posting journal entries, reconciliations, and financial analysis
  • Supporting the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting
  • Managing general ledger accounts, including inventory, fixed assets, and bank reconciliations
  • Performing intercompany accounting and reconciliations (AR, AP, loans)
  • Supporting cash and FX forecasting processes
  • Assisting in the preparation of UK statutory accounts
  • Ensuring compliance with SOX, internal controls, and corporate procedures
  • Driving process improvements and efficiencies
  • Responding to internal and external stakeholder queries with a strong customer focus

What We're Looking For

Qualifications & Experience

  • Newly qualified or 1 year PQE as an ACCA / ACA / CIMA / ICAEW accountant
  • Experience in general accounting, financial reporting, or audit
  • Exposure to financial systems (Oracle experience beneficial but not essential)
  • Knowledge of UK GAAP
