About Global Business Services (GBS) GBS UK is a shared service centre supporting Terex entities in Europe, the US, Mexico and Australia. GBS is responsible for a range of financial functions including General Ledger Accounting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Indirect Tax and Business Services (Payroll, Masterdata and Travel and Expense).

About the Position

  • Job Location: Lurgan
  • Working hours: 37 hours Monday to Thursday 8am 4.30pm and Friday 8am 2pm
  • Start date: End of May early June 2026

Position Overview

As part of the Terex early talent identification process, Terex Global Business Services offer full-time finance placement opportunities for students from the following degree areas: Accounting, Business Studies or Finance. Our placement opportunities provide the student real-world experience to maximize their learning from the classroom.

Students may be responsible for performing tasks in the following areas:

  • Indirect tax return preparation for European entities
  • Supporting tax agency audits
  • Month-end accounting support
  • Various project work to improve the services that GBS offers
  • Other administration type functions as required

Requirements

  • Currently studying towards the following degree areas: Accounting, Business Studies or Finance
  • Ability to work fulltime - 37.75 hours per week
  • Strong computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to organise and complete multiple tasks/projects at one time
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Positive and energetic
  • Must be a team player able to demonstrate strong customer focus with the energy, drive and commitment to successfully work through any and all issues and objectives related to this role and that of the overall team.
