Job Purpose
Are you passionate about machinery, customer service, and developing strong commercial relationships? Terex is offering an exciting opportunity to join our Commercial Aftermarket Sales Trainee Program. This program is a fast-track route into the aftermarket sales profession within the global Materials Processing industry. The program is designed to develop motivated individuals into effective Regional Part Sales Managers within twelve months, forming the foundation for a long-term career in parts, service, and commercial aftermarket management. We strongly encourage internal candidates from all functions including service, parts, operations, and engineering who are ready to grow into a commercial career path.
What You Will Do
- Support aftermarket sales teams in identifying parts sales opportunities and dealer support within assigned territories.
- Drive Part Sales with key accounts to ensure revenue targets are achieved in line with overall AOP targets.
- Engage with customers and dealers to understand machine usage, stock requirements, competitor offerings, and market trends.
- Work with dealers to educate them on the benefits of holding inventory.
- Promote new parts products and initiatives, i.e. Connected Dealer Inventory.
- Assist in preparing quotations, pricing structures, and support packages for parts.
- Participate in customer site visits, inspections, and aftermarket promotional events.
- Build working knowledge of parts catalogues, service tools, component life cycles, and common failure modes.
- Collaborate closely with Technical Support, Service, Product Support, and Supply Chain to resolve customer issues.
- Maintain accurate customer information and support market analysis, demand trends, and forecasting.
- Provide monthly sales reports for management review.
- Attend structured training modules covering product lifecycle support, problem-solving, sales skills, and aftermarket commercial strategy.

- Strong commercial awareness and interest in identifying revenue opportunities.
- Experience in parts, service, repair, technical support, shop/field service, or customer-facing roles.
- Previous exposure to Terex products or similar heavy equipment through manufacturing, aftersales, diagnostics, or assembly.
- Understanding of hydraulics, engines, wear parts, machine maintenance, or equipment rebuilds.
- Willingness to travel as part of your long-term career progression.
