We are looking for an experienced store operative to be an imperative member of our stores and dispatch team. You will receive, check, control and unload all deliveries from suppliers and production, providing crucial support to the production team to ensure a fast and efficient turnaround for all goods entering the site.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Parts should be stored in a safe and suitable location.
  • Responsible for the receiving of all goods, correct to documentation, order and of good quality.
  • Accurate picking of goods for manufacturing, 3rd party suppliers and spares is a necessity in a timely manner.
  • Offloading and loading of vehicles both manually and with a F.L.T.
  • Accurate inputting of data into the companies MRP/ERP system.
  • Housekeeping to be carried out daily, within stores and surrounding areas.
  • Good communication throughout Terex at all levels is required, i.e. Purchasing, Manufacturing, Warranty, Quality etc.
  • Stock accuracy is of most importance. Stores audits and cycle counts performed daily. Discrepancies to be reported to Stores & Dispatch Team Leader immediately.
  • Work safely to Company’s Health & Safety guidelines, whilst being customer focused.
  • Maintain records of goods received and dispatched for auditing purposes.
  • Perform duties as required.

The successful candidate should ideally have:

  • FLT License – Counterbalance & Reach.
  • Experience in a store’s environment.
  • Team player.
  • Numerically competent.
  • Working knowledge of PC & Microsoft Packages.
