Join our team at Terex and embark on an exciting opportunity as we seek a skilled and dedicated Material Handler to contribute to the Terex Dungannon Operations team. Position: Material Handler
Location: Dungannon
Reporting to: Production Supervisor
Hours of Work: 39 hours per week
What you will do: You will play a pivotal role within the Fabrication team, handling material in a safe and efficient manner, responsible for a seamless flow of material through the production processes.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Efficient and timely handling of all materials
- Support Production through timely and accurate delivery of Parts
- Use of PIT in a safe and efficient manner including Pallet Stacker
- Processing of Parts to fabrication received from both Cutting Shop and from Stores
- Compliance with inventory control measures
- Compliance with internal environmental and waste management procedures
- Following Standard Work procedures
- General Housekeeping Duties
What you will bring:
- Previous experience of working in a fast moving manufacturing environment
- Valid PIT license
- Understanding of Inventory Control
- Self-motivation and initiative
- Ability to work well in a team
- Ability to problem solve
- Strive towards continuous improvement
- Ability to work in an environment that is fluid with constantly changing priorities
