Join our Team: Helpdesk & Warranty Engineer

Location: Farlough

Reporting to: Principle Engineer

Hours of Work: 39¾ hours per week

Join our team at Terex as a Helpdesk & Warranty Engineer in the Projects & Aftersales Department. We foster a vibrant, inclusive work culture focused on quality, innovation, diversity, and respect. We seek talented individuals who share our values.

The Warranty & Helpdesk Engineer will proactively assess claims, settle them with dealers & customers, and provide first-class support for TWS equipment. You will also be the appointed person for lift plans when required.

Responsibilities include:

  • Processing warranty claims for Terex Washing Systems.
  • Gathering claim data, preparing summaries, proposing settlements.
  • Settling claims promptly and managing credit runs.
  • Collaborating with engineers, quality, and service teams.
  • Handling queries via calls, emails, portals.
  • Training staff and dealer network on warranty processes.
  • Recovering costs from suppliers and coordinating part returns.
  • Raising concerns to the Internal Quality Council.
  • Advising Helpdesk teams on warranty issues.
  • Updating Finance on warranty claims.
  • Identifying technology solutions for field issues.
  • Supporting dealer networks & customers to ensure satisfaction.
  • Ensuring product safety, reliability, and serviceability.
  • Completing lift plans as appointed.
  • Travel may be required.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • At least 3 years of technical experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Qualified Appointed Person or willing to attain qualification within 6 months.
  • Self-motivated, creative, and innovative.

Desirable Skills:

  • Knowledge of washing equipment.
  • Experience with Microsoft Access & warranty portals.
  • Administrative experience.
