This role will support the Terex Materials Processing (MP) business by delivering data-driven insights and AI-enabled solutions that improve decision-making across operations, engineering, supply chain, and commercial teams. Working closely with our business stakeholders to identify opportunities where analytics, machine learning, and AI can drive measurable value, and translate data into practical insights that support operational efficiency, cost optimization, and performance improvement. The individual will contribute to AI and advanced analytics projects across MP, supporting activities such as data exploration, model development, dashboarding, and insight generation, while working within established enterprise data platforms and governance frameworks. This is a hands-on role focused on applied analytics and real business outcomes.

Main responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of MP business processes across operations, engineering, supply chain, and commercial functions.
  • Partner with MP business units, Operations Managers, and the Digital Transformation team to identify data, analytics, and AI opportunities and define the optimal course of action.
  • Translate business challenges into practical analytics and AI use cases with clear outcomes.
  • Deliver data driven insights using descriptive, diagnostic, and predictive analytics to support operational efficiency, cost optimisation, and performance improvement.
  • Contribute to AI and machine learning initiatives across MP, supporting activities such as data exploration and preparation, model development and evaluation, dashboarding and insight generation.
  • Support data ingestion, preparation, and rationalisation for analytics and AI projects.
  • Work with enterprise data platforms and cloud data environments (e.g. AWS Redshift, Snowflake, SQL Server or similar) to access and analyse data.
  • Develop and maintain visualisations and dashboards using Power BI or similar BI platforms.
  • Collaborate with the wider IT team on integration solutions across the application landscape, including AI/ML solutions, reporting tools, MES platforms, and ERP systems (e.g. Oracle).

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Third level qualification in a relevant discipline (e.g. Data, Computer Science, Engineering, Analytics, or similar).
  • Practical experience working with data, analytics, and AI/machine learning techniques in a business environment.
  • Experience using analytics or ML programming languages and tools (e.g. Python, SQL or similar).
  • Experience working with enterprise data platforms and cloud data environments.
  • Experience designing and delivering analytics or reporting solutions (e.g. Power BI, Qlik, Grafana or similar).
  • Understanding of enterprise systems and data integration (e.g. ERP, MES, operational systems).
  • Experience working within data governance, security, and compliance frameworks.
  • Ability to work effectively across IT and business teams, communicating with stakeholders at different levels and across geographies.

Travel Requirements: Has to be able to travel between sites as required to work with business stakeholders. International Travel – may be required < 25%.
