Join our team at Terex and embark on an exciting opportunity as we seek a skilled and dedicated Production Supervisor to contribute to the Machine Shop. As a Production Supervisor at Terex based in Coalville, you'll play a pivotal role in leading the Machine Shop Team. We are looking for a hard working & dedicated team player who is willing to train quickly and put their skills to the test on the assembly line. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will work with your team to manufacture crushing equipment.
What you’ll do:
- Mechanical Fitting of Crushing Equipment Working within a production line.
- Read and understand bespoke engineering drawings.
- Meet set targets whilst working on the production line.
- Safe and controlled movement of production parts.
- Day to management and coaching of team members.
- Working tight deadlines/ targets and reporting on daily basis.
- Monitoring and leading performance of the department.
- Attend meetings as required.
- Manage consumables and labour costs.
- Conduct performance, disciplinary and absence meetings as required.
What you’ll bring:
- Experience training and supervising individuals.
- Proven experience leading a team in delivering to set targets and efficiencies.
- Willing and desire to progress into a leadership role.
- Experience of fitting hydraulics.
- Experience in mechanical fitting.
- Experience of building crushing equipment (desirable).
- Proven engineering manufacturing experience.
- Good mechanical skills.
- Have a keen approach to problem solving.
- Good communication skills.
