Purpose of the role: Terberg DTS is seeking a highly motivated Sales Manager to be responsible for developing our customer portfolio and driving the expansion of our current customer base within the Aviation sector. Working directly with our manufacturing partners, you will build on our continuing process of expansion and achievement, with the business objective of becoming the leading industry player in the UK, whilst developing our reputation and standing in the marketplace for providing high quality customer service. This is an exciting and highly visible role which reports directly to the Head of Aviation Sales for UK & IRE.

Responsibilities:

  • Actively promote and sell the complete airport products portfolio.
  • Seek out, establish and maintain productive and close working relationships with key decision makers in the Aviation support sector.
  • Develop and strengthen relationships with all key customers i.e. Airlines, handling agents, airport service providers, MROs and end users.
  • Achieve targets for capital sales, equipment hire, service agreements and repair/refurbishment contracts.
  • Develop a solutions-driven approach, which positively impacts on the customer experience.
  • Develop long-term sustainable strategies for meeting customer needs together with other Department Managers.
  • Resolve customer queries in the field in liaison with other departments.
  • Work with all departments, particularly with projects that are being explored or implemented.
  • Undertake any other duties consistent with the purpose of this job or to support the needs of the business.

  • A solid understanding and knowledge of different GSE products and uses.

  • Good knowledge of other Microsoft Office – Teams, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint.

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a sales role.
