At Terberg DTS, we're looking for a Recruitment & Onboarding Coordinator to join our HR team in Elland.

You'll play a vital role in supporting our recruitment strategy by coordinating the end-to-end hiring process, ensuring an outstanding candidate experience, and helping us attract the right people to support the continued growth of our business.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with recruitment coordination experience who enjoys working with hiring managers, candidates, and stakeholders across the organisation while contributing to the future success of our workforce.

  • What You’ll Be Doing
  • Managing the end-to-end recruitment process, from advertising vacancies through to onboarding new employees.
  • Screening CVs and carrying out pre-employment checks.
  • Providing regular updates on recruitment activity and hiring progress.
  • Supporting the development and delivery of a consistent recruitment strategy.
  • Working closely with hiring managers to develop job descriptions and assessment criteria.
  • Providing guidance and support to managers on recruitment and onboarding processes.
  • Coordinating job advertising across internal platforms and external recruitment channels.
  • Maintaining relationships with recruitment partners and job boards while managing associated costs.
  • Coordinating interviews and candidate assessments.
  • Acting as the main point of contact for candidates throughout the recruitment process.
  • Ensuring a positive, professional, and engaging candidate experience.
  • Managing the employee referral scheme.
  • Supporting apprentice recruitment activities, including engagement with schools and colleges.
  • Coordinating onboarding and induction activities with line managers.
  • Supporting recruitment-related projects across different departments.
  • Carrying out additional recruitment and HR-related tasks to support business needs.

Desirable Knowledge & Experience

  • A good understanding of effective recruitment and selection methods.
  • Knowledge of current employment law and recruitment legislation.
  • Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruitment software.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams.
  • Experience coordinating high-volume or multi-site recruitment activities.
  • Experience supporting apprenticeship recruitment programmes would be advantageous.

Qualifications Required

  • GCSE Mathematics (Grade C / 4 or above) or equivalent.
  • GCSE English (Grade C / 4 or above) or equivalent.
  • Previous recruitment coordination experience.
