Reports to : Data Analyst Purpose of the role: The Junior Data Analyst responsibilities involve providing business insight through the analysis of complex data sets and the creation and maintenance of reports.
They work closely with the various departments in the business, answering queries from managers and supervisors in order to enable better decision making.
Responsibilities: Creation of reporting packages and data models in Excel, Power Query, Power Pivot , and Power BI to create meaningful insights from raw data as requested by and in collaboration with various departments.
Creating dashboards and visual reports to develop greater insight into business performance and processes.
Maintenance, enhancement, and streamlining of current reporting packages.
Liaising with department managers and supervisors to determine reporting requirements and to provide insights.
Presentation of findings and insights to stakeholders.
Cleansing and validation of data to ensure accurate reporting and ease of processing.
