Are you a skilled engineer who loves solving problems, working independently, and getting hands-on with specialist vehicles?

At Terberg DTS, you'll work with some of the most advanced distribution tractors, Ro-Ro tractors, GSE equipment, and specialist vehicles in the industry, keeping our customers moving when it matters most.

As a Mobile Service Engineer, no two days are the same.

You'll travel to customer sites, diagnose faults, carry out repairs, complete inspections, and deliver first-class technical support while representing a globally respected brand.

  • What You'll Be Doing
  • Servicing, maintaining and repairing Terberg and specialist vehicles at customer locations.
  • Diagnosing mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults using modern diagnostic equipment.
  • Carrying out inspections and identifying wear, damage, and potential failures.
  • Completing repairs safely, efficiently, and to manufacturer standards.
  • Producing accurate service reports and repair recommendations.
  • Managing van stock and ensuring parts are available when needed.
  • Building strong relationships with customers through excellent service.
  • Working independently while maintaining the highest safety standards.
  • Participating in ongoing training and development to grow your skills.
  • What You'll Bring
  • Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance & Repair qualification (or equivalent).
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills, particularly in auto-electrics.
  • Experience working on HGVs, plant machinery, specialist vehicles, or similar equipment.
  • Confidence using modern diagnostic systems.
  • A proactive, self-motivated approach with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills and customer focus.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
