Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain the Technical Relationship in an Account
- Answer Technical product questions
- Assist with Customer Demonstrations and Evaluation
- Develop Test Program Software, often in a collaborative environment
- Attend and contribute at Technical Conferences
- Assist with Customer Requests for Proposals and Statements of Work
- Assist Teradyne Field Service Engineers with technical queries
- Travel to customer locations (Mainly UK and Europe, but can be World‑Wide) approximately 50‑75% of the time
- Assist the Sales Team & Teradyne representatives
- Act as Technical Consultant for customers regarding testing solutions
- Attend customer meetings with Sales Engineers to help solve customer problems with Teradyne Technology
- Assist with configuring Systems for Customers based on customer requirements
- Present Technical Product Presentations
- Keep up to date on the latest products
- Assist with Technical Responses to Customer RFQ’s and RFI’s
- Serve as Voice of the Customer to the Factory
- Work with customers during the implementation phase of Teradyne products
Qualifications
- BSEE or equivalent
- Visual Basic or C++ programming knowledge
- 15+ years experience in Test Engineering / software development
- 10+ years experience in Defense and Aerospace industry
- Experience developing Test Program Sets utilizing Teradyne instrumentation
- Experience configuring Test Systems based on user requirements
- Experience working with a Statement of Work (SOW)
- Passport and driving licence
- Ability to obtain security clearance
- General understanding of ATE industry trends as well as competitive products and product positioning (plus)
