Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain the Technical Relationship in an Account
  • Answer Technical product questions
  • Assist with Customer Demonstrations and Evaluation
  • Develop Test Program Software, often in a collaborative environment
  • Attend and contribute at Technical Conferences
  • Assist with Customer Requests for Proposals and Statements of Work
  • Assist Teradyne Field Service Engineers with technical queries
  • Travel to customer locations (Mainly UK and Europe, but can be World‑Wide) approximately 50‑75% of the time
  • Assist the Sales Team & Teradyne representatives
  • Act as Technical Consultant for customers regarding testing solutions
  • Attend customer meetings with Sales Engineers to help solve customer problems with Teradyne Technology
  • Assist with configuring Systems for Customers based on customer requirements
  • Present Technical Product Presentations
  • Keep up to date on the latest products
  • Assist with Technical Responses to Customer RFQ’s and RFI’s
  • Serve as Voice of the Customer to the Factory
  • Work with customers during the implementation phase of Teradyne products

Qualifications

  • BSEE or equivalent
  • Visual Basic or C++ programming knowledge
  • 15+ years experience in Test Engineering / software development
  • 10+ years experience in Defense and Aerospace industry
  • Experience developing Test Program Sets utilizing Teradyne instrumentation
  • Experience configuring Test Systems based on user requirements
  • Experience working with a Statement of Work (SOW)
  • Passport and driving licence
  • Ability to obtain security clearance
  • General understanding of ATE industry trends as well as competitive products and product positioning (plus)
